Two of our children have been under Lenores care, our third child will start in the fall. We can count on Lenore to communicate both positive comments and concerns. Lenore offers a nice mix of readiness skills, that have prepared our children for preschool and social activities that have made them a lot of friends. We would recommend Lenore to anyone looking for consistient quality home daycare.

Our oldest son started with Lenore when he was 2 years old and we are so pleased with the care he received, we didn’t think twice about starting our youngest son with her when he was 8 months old. One of the best things about lenore’s in home daycare is that her staff members have been with her for many years which is a rare find in home daycare settings. In addition the curriculum that Lenore provides the toddlers is comparable to most preschool programs. My 20 month old is learning his shapes, colors, and numbers already! She has divided her home into space for infants and a separate space for toddlers. The toddlers space looks like my oldest son’s preschool classroom complete with stations and educational toys. They have story time everyday and do lots of arts and crafts. Lenore’s high quality of care extends to her interactions with parents. She is flexible, understanding and supportive. We feel very fortunate to call Lenore our childcare provider.

Home sweet Home has taken a lot of the pressure off being a working mom. I never have to worry about my children’s well-being while I’m away at work. I know that they are well cared for, well stimulated, and well loved”

Lenore Johnson is a dream. She has taught my 2 year old son so much- colors, numbers, days of the week- not the least of which good manners. He loves it there and so do I. Her staff is also very caring and attentive to the children.

Both of my children started Home Sweet Home when they were 12 months old. Lenore and Dorothy created a safe structured and caring environment. As infants they received a good balance of one on one time with a caretaker and independent play time needed to grow and develop.
